New View Recovery Counseling: Your Path to Healing

Cat Mobley is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Qualified Supervisor (FL). She completed undergraduate and graduate degrees at UCF in Psychology and Counselor Education. Growing up in a military family with parents in education and medical, Cat leans toward a client-centered growth mindset and strengths-based approach. She prioritizes therapeutic relationship and collaboration towards client goals.

With a background in Mathematics prior to Mental Health Counseling, learning theory often informs how challenges and new experiences are viewed, the process of utilizing one's strengths to reclaim capacity, and the benefits of genuine, caring support.

Experience includes a variety of settings, with additional training and focus and in Trauma/PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder), Anxiety/Stress, Substance use and other Addictions, and Relationship with self and with others.

(Prior populations include overseas military and stateside veterans, inpatient addictions, local community, and disaster/crisis response support.)

Cat mostly works with adults, but also enjoys working on communication with couples and stress management workshops with children. Cat loves nature, travel, and dance, often incorporating all three into time away. This reminds her people are often kind and welcoming, with much in common.
